I Officially Hate Ironknuckles

Look at that. I'm at the end of the first Palace in Zelda II, and I'm on my way to the boss.

Hmm...it's another one of those orange things...ah yes, those Ironknuckles.

Link has suffered many deaths because of my failure to defeat these things.

Why are these guys so difficult? Actually, here's a better question. Why are they in Palace 1? Do I really suck at Zelda this badly?

Don't answer that.

And you're telling me that I'm going to be encountering their closely related cousins, the Darknuts, in Twilight Princess (once I finish the third temple)?

Sweet Jesus. Help me now.

Wait a minute, I fought those Darknut guys in Wind Waker. Why did I dispose of them easily there when I can't defeat their twin brothers back in 1980?

Damn you Zelda. Damn you Link. I hope Ganon annihilates the both of you and your cursed kingdom.

So Much Chaos...

After the zoo that was last weekend, hopefully I can update this thing a little more frequently. In the midst of birthday shopping and being Confirmed, I managed to randomly find a couple of great titles being sold for ridiculously low prices.

At my local FYE, to lo and behold, a set of brand-new Viewtiful Joe 2's were sitting in a lovely row - for 10 bucks. Obviously, I bought one for me, and later, for another.

R.I.P. Clover Studio

The other title I randomly found was at a GameStop, also brand new, and also for $10. Oddly enough, it was Battalion Wars, which is to receive a Wii version this September 24th. It's a bit rough aruond the edges, but I'm still in the beginning, so I suppose anyone who happens to read this may expect a review of some kind in the future.

And, of course, today is the day that the 100th Virtual Console title, Zelda II, becomes available, so obviously I'm downloading that as soon as I get home.

Damn the educational process. Ah well.

Oh. Mario Party 8 is around too. Me gots it yesterday. I didn't open it yet. That's something else to do. I'm scared.

Hold me.

On second thought, don't.
